TI Volunteers-An Appreciation For your Help

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the new GAA pitches
on Treasure Island we would like to say a very big thank you
for all your recent and consistent contributors of time and
effort to the development of the new GAA Fields on Treasure
Island.

Treasure Island Fields from the air. The two brown fields in the middle foreground mark the location of Field A and B which are almost ready (as of Sept 11th, 2008).

Without all this hard work and dedication we would not be where we are today. This development has been a great success and it was, in no small measure due to the hard work of all those who have given generously of their time sincee Mach 20th. Special thanks to Tom Hunt, Mike D'arcy and Leo Cassidy were the Field Project Managers for the renovation of the fields. As of Sept 11th, only one field remains to be hydroseeded.

Site A being hydroseeded on 9-11-08

We have have received a lot of help in the process of renovating the fields and although there are too many to mention (see link to list of volunteers and volunteering information) we express our sincere
gratitude to those whose contributed support moves us closer to the completion of this exciting project for Gaels in the Bay Arera which th will benefit us all for years to come.

Weekend after weekend we have seen many of the same faces
on the island and for this we are especially grateful.

Its not over yet.... we now have to move on to the clubhouse re-development and with will take another monumental effort. So if you are willing to help please contact:
